Kenneth T. Mathabela known as OGK4Lyf, is an independent South African record producer, artist, video director and editor specializing in Hip-Hop, R&B, House, Ragga and Gospel Rap. OGK4Lyf has collaborated with Doggan Flavaz, SMK, Poggen & Authentiq Stoner. He has digitally released SummerTime [EP] (2018), Never Change [Album] (2019) feat. Doggan Flavaz, UnderRated [EP] (2019). OGK4Lyf has been in the underground music scene since 1998 when he learned to write and play musical instruments (trombone, keyboard and drums). In 2018/19 he was featured on African Reporter; a local newspaper, for his solo EP release and Club2Club Tour, a network established to equip aspiring artists with the knowledge of registering their music and acquiring ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) at SAMRO (South African Music Rights Organization), RISA (Representing Recording of South Africa), Free Digital Release and Mastering. OGK4Lyf’s music videos were featured on 1KZN (Pump or Dump), channel 261 on DSTV and got play-listed on EK FM 103.6 for AfrikA Unite featuring SMK & Doggan Flavaz, a song inspired by xenophobia attacks in South Africa. In 2019, OGK4Lyf and Doggan Flavaz began free performance shows to help raise funds for physically challenged children and orphans in their local and neighbouring townships.
